Functional Analysis for improving the organizational objectives of the Courts in the Republic of Macedonia
The Ministry of Justice in Macedonia received external support for close to a decade to reform the Justice Sector in order to make it morre effective and ensure that the judicial sector is both independent and transparent. This project explored areas of improvement and provided recommendation in the administration of the courts, both internally within the courts and the sterring mechanisms of courts from higher levels, the Ministry of Justice and the Court Budget Council, in terms of resources allocation to the courts.
Project purpose was to to improve the organisational and administrative capacities of 12 target courts, the Training Academy and the Court Budget Counci. A functional analysis provided the baseline for a strategy for improvement, which in its turn resulted in recommendations for appropriate changes as well as a limited capacity building interventions to improve institutional capacities.
