Development of a Service Charter for the Water Appeals Board
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation has been undertaking fundamental reforms in the water sector, supported by the Kenya Water and Sanitation Programme (KWSP). The main objective of this assignment is to assist the Water Appeals Board (WAB) prepare a Service Charter that will:
- Enable the Board to effectively manage water dispute resolutions,
- Strengthen institutional capacity of the Board to enable it to carry out its mandate,
- Ensure easy access to information for dispute resolution in the water sector, and
- Ensure Gender, HIV/Aids and governance are mainstreamed in the Board.
